I estimate only one in about 200 visitors to any site will click on a banner or text link and only about 1 in 10,000 will actually buy something. Thats what makes adsense so valuable to you, nobody has to buy anything for you to make money. I have discovered that unless you have traffic in the millions affiliate programs won't make much for you.
